Question Fake TRW parts???

I'm seeing lots of TRW parts out there and am curious to know if there are fake TRW bolts, trigger housing etc. I know it's not easy to fake parts but with the prices commanded these days it wouldn't surprise me. Are there any faked makers out there? Thanks.

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that some Chinese trigger housings were marked TRW but the TRW was upside down.

In today's world............ Verify that everything is "the real deal".... not just weapons parts. China is in an economical slump and will counterfeit anything..........

This explains why the fair market value on "vintage" items is often more than current production...

Very informative. Thanks. It just seems like there is a lot of TRW stuff out there. Except for a nice op rod

I remember when I was restoring M1 Carbines(15+ years ago), fakes of the earlier more rare parts started popping up. Push safeties, type one barrel bands, flip rear sights etc... some stuff looked legit until you tried to install said part and it was out of spec. Some stuff look like it was hand carved in a basement. So why not counterfeit M14 parts? There is a market, either selling counterfeit parts, or after market parts with original markings, some one could make money.
