Mine is not quite ready yet, has to be heat treated and finished. But I think she will look great.

Tony,

That really turned out fantastic looking. I like how you did the dated 1966-67.

Accidental Gun Works Group Buy

[/IMG]

I ordered my reciever back in Decenber, not knowing about TFL Group buy. GW was referred by a friend for a forged receiver.

Faye called and double checked with me on my serial number, 122...
She then asked if it was OK if it had a TFL prefix, no problem on my end.

They were very gracious and gave me a discount, which we promptly put on my next order for my SA build.

Awesome Customer Service!! Thanks to the team at Gun Works

It was a long wait, but well worth it. These are amazing looking receivers and should build into fine M14s.

I picked up TFL109 today. It arrived at my FFL on the 18th while I was in Montana. It will be built with all major components being HRA including a new barrel I had stashed away.

I know these have already been seen but are better pictures. The receivers were placed in a USGI birch stock and locked up without incident. Timing was at 7-715 with the four barrels tested, Win chrome, Trw chrome, TRW NM and a new Gene Barnett. The bolts closed on all barrels with a no-go gauge except the Barnett barrel which is short chambered and needs to be reamed.

These are nice looking receivers and should build easily without too much needing to be done.
