7 rd USAMTU Mags - Data Needed

So - I'm halfway through an M21 build and I am looking for pictures of the Vietnam era 7 rd mags that were built by the AMTU for use with the XM/M21 rifles.
There seems to be precious little data / photographic evidence available.

Can anyone fill in the blanks?
Specifically - were these shop modified mags?
Were they built by one of the mag mfr's to a USAMTU spec?

Looking for photos of the base of the mag as I may need to build these on my own.

TIA.

I know it dosent help but thought I would post a picture from the "long-range war" book. I'm interested in replicating a few also. I've seen a base welded with four small tacks on the corners. I'm not sure if this was a homemade job or a real xm21 magazine.?.

Bump to top!

I can't tell you this one is legit. There is no way to prove it. It was sold to me as a 5 rounder but holds 7. It's made from a modified GI mag.
