|  Serial Numbers on M14-help requested
There seems to be some discrepancies on the serial number ranges of M14's by the 4 GI contractors. As I do not have access to the original contracts assigning the serial numbers, I have decided to create a file of known serial numbers by manufacturers. So far I have approx 12. I hope to evidentually get a few thousand.
You can help by writing down and reporting any Demilled rear half with a legible serial number and its maker. Also any other M14 (military only) you see and forward the information to me via email. If it is complete rifle the barrel date will also be helpful. Or if you had a MKS reweld that was confiscated, that serial number and maker will help too. Thanks for any help. Bill

| Serial number help on M14 requested
TRW, demilled, 1385346. I have three demilled ones on the way from freds, as soon as I get them I will send the numbers. Also the 4th Recon has soom for color gaurd. Will get those numbers also.
