Proper Armscorp Receiver Markings?

I ran across this rifle and thought that the receiver markings don't look correct. Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Looks correct to me. I see from reading on here that some of the engraving got sloppy towards the end due to being old.

But then again I am rather NEW to this M14 game

This has me confused; yours and the one I posted are within 48 units of each other and yet look like they were made in completely different factories. I'm curious... Do you think the receiver was reground and remarked?

Here's mine. It's an earlier serial number.

The receiver in the OP's photo is genuine Armscorp USA.

Why such a difference in markings? I've never seen an American firearms company lack such quality control on their product.

I looked at an enlarged version. I think it might be the camera angle in the OP's post that makes it look a lot different. Some letter corners look "rolled", but a full top view might make them look straighter? # height are the same for both from what I can tell. JMHO

Interesting… look at the flat area immediately behind the rear sight on 17510 and 17558, they look like they were machined differently.

Here you can see them better.....the angles look more defined on the smaller pic, but I still think it's camera affiliated. You decide.....

Here's another one. Not the fanciest engraving. Not sure of the date of manufacture.

Please excuse my ignorance, but why is there a confusion about Armscorp markings? I have read that the receivers can be iffy. Is there a serial number range with problems? I've also seen the thread about receiver date of manufacturer. Just a little confused....

I'm curious because I've got a receiver in the 11K range and will eventually build it up. (My lettering is not as deep as those pictured above.)

Okay, I'll play too!

This has been a great carbine over the years. Never had a problem with any fitment of any parts except a Troy MCS stock.
