No markings on this M1A

I can't find any manufacturing stamps on this M1A. The only stamp is on the left side of the receiver-C08223. That's it ! Anyone know who made this weapon ? Thanks.

It could be a Norinco.

It's a Norinco M14 Sporter that was imported by Century Arms International.
