| M14 Disassembly Videos
I finally got around to making a video on disassembly.
I probably got a little too detailed on some stuff as the single video was about 27 minutes long. I will get to work on the assembly portion and try to keep it under 10 minutes.
Here they are...
More instructions will be coming in the future. It's actually quicker and easier to shoot a video than it is to write a document on it.
Tony.

Very nice. Finally a video where its not some kid or one time gun owner who thinks he's a gunsmith and knows everything about the rifle, just so people watching can screw up their rifle following his example.

Tonyben I have a question, do you think the BAD T-1 is worth the cost?

I suppose it depends on your disposable income and I can't really say one way or the other. I love mine and would hate to do without it but for someone who doesn't plan on shooting their rifle much or doesn't track throat erosion and muzzle wear, it may not be a wise investment.
That's also why I include the budget alternative methods in the videos so that regardless of you individual budget, you can still maintain your rifle.
It does replace many tools in one and I don't go shooting without it in the range box. I like the ability to check things properly without guessing or wondering if it was ever done right, like flash suppressor alignment, throat erosion and muzzle wear. It is very well made and some very good people were involved in designing it.
I hope that helps in your decision.
Tony.

I could have used these several years ago...LOL had to learn the hard way, Thank you Sir for your time to do these
I will add that there is another way for the bolt, this vid shows an M1 bolt and it works as described on both and it's very easy to do, never shot any parts across the room http://www.youtube.com/user/ShuffsPrk

Thanks Tony. Without guides like yours I would probably never have convinced myself to pull the trigger on an M1A since I would have had no idea how to properly and precisely care for it.
