I do not believe that is Reese.

That looks like a Springfield Armory BM59 style folder for the M1A-A1
Bush rifle.

In good shape to.

As I recall, the 2 arm version above was an actual BM-59 Alpine/para stock fitted to a custom made M1A walnut stock with a boss on the left side for a sling swivel.

When they ran out of these, Reese had the single arm stocks made here in the US. Late versions had the sling swivel on the bottom of the forearm.

When they ran out of them, SAI used the Choate plastic abomination that was attached to chopped fiberglass stocks.

Thanks from Wwestbro

Kurt C is correct about all. But Reese Surplus was also a sister company of Springfield Armory Inc. Dennis Reese = Owner of SAI (Bob was the dad/original owner of Reese Surplus that bought SAI from Elmer)

KurtC is correct. There was even a point where SAI(Reese) ran out of the plastic pistol grips and made them out of wood.

OP's stock is 100% SAI(Reese).

I've had Reese folder and I have a folder with side sling mount. I was under the impression side mount stocks were Boyd's.
