I use to have a loaded just like that. I sold it. It was my one and only M14 I have ever sold and will ever sell. I made promise to myself never to sell an M14 again and I plan to keep that promise.

Doesn't that first photo just make you want to cuddle with that rifle?

Sweet Rifle.
You got a nice looking stock with it. Many don't have that nice a grain but still look good.

My first was a loaded as well. Mine came with a cracked elevation drum. I didn't know at the time of purchase that it was cracked. Called SAI, they mailed one and I received it 4 days later.
A blessing in disguise too. I learned how the mechanism worked. Made me appreciate the rifle even more.
I have my SM scoped but the standard and Loaded stay ironed.

Have fun, stay safe.

And another lost soul bites the dust, that loaded is only the beginning. Make room in your gun cabinet for more. They breed like rabbits.

I've sold off or traded a few firearms that I'd like not to think about...

I really did. I don't think I put her down for more than a two or three minut stretch all afternoon. When I finally did put her away I went through the manuals....
