My M14 in the Stan

Here are a couple of pics that I dug up of my M14 in Afghanistan. Started as a ebr chassis with a Leopold mk4. Ditched in favor of wood and irons. Thought you all might like them.

Hey CavScout,

Is the M1A legal to have in Colorado with a 20 rd box magazine? Or is that considered an evil "high capacity" mag?

Also first and foremost, thanks for your service! How did she behave over there? Any problems with dust and grit etc?

So the m1a is legal, however the evil mags are not allowed for new purchase. But its rarely enforced. Existing ones are grandfathered jn and legal. Even the cops think its sily. Most people if nothing else will just remove the floor.plate and sell the mag as a "kit" which makes it legal. Thankfully the sillyness doesnt apply to me as active duty and law enforcement are still able to purchase mags,
