My First M1A

This is my first M1A. I enjoy the heck out of shooting it and I am a history enthusiast which makes this one special. The day I sold my Springfield Service Grade CMP Garand I have regretted it.
I saw one of these at a LGS and started looking for one. I purchased this Loaded Springfield a few months ago. It came with the synthetic stock.
I put a 4th generation scope mount for my Vortex Crossfire 6X24X50.
The handguard is from Fulton's and the heavy Boyd's stock makes it look like it should IMHO.
It was pretty darn accurate with the synthetic stock. I haven't had it out to the range yet with this stock. I hope I didn't screw up the accuracy.
I'm happy with it.

Looks great!
The wood stock will be more stiff than the factory synthetic stock, it shouldn't affect the accuracy negatively. You can always do a few cheap mods like shimming the gas system and such. Always make sure you are using match grade ammo to test accuracy, cheap stuff will always disappoint. Best of luck.

Looks good! Get a Bradley cheek rest so that you have consistent head placement when using your scope. It will tighten the groups.
