1995 SAI eye candy

A couple of years ago I sold a minty 1995 M1A to Sumo. He hadn't used it, so I recently bought it back. It has a TRW barrel, with a Winchester bolt and oprod.

Here she is dropped into a minty USGI stock and vented handguard. I'm waiting on a NM guide rod from Jeff and a tritium front sight from Kensight. I hope to get her out to the range on Monday.

Thanks from TCAF, tnw50cal, RDS and 10 others

Very nice, really like the stock and old school handguard. I have a 74xxx from Nov. '93 and 78xxx, from March of '95 I think? I bought that one used and called SAI about the BOD, but can't remember the year. That one is in a stock similar to yours with a regular HG. The other was turned into a NM by SAI back in '05 IIRC and bedded into a Mac stock. Glad you got her back, enjoy!

Just how I like them. Clean and light in standard configuration. Nice rifle.

You know KurtC, it's hard to beat the good clean lines of a standard M1A. Wise buy-back.

Hey that looks familiar!. It was a tough decision, but I had to pay off a Bula XM21. I'm glad she went back home, and will be put into service.

There is just something about these rifles, the moment I think I have all I need....I find I need one more.

That rifle of yours is just the way I like them too!

Thanks for the great pictures.

Funny buying back guns that you let go, I've done it a few times, just recently on a SxS Parker 16ga. shotgun I sold 12 years ago, my friend never used it but twice, both times shooting clays with me, and he's downsizing so he offered it back to me and I happily bought it back.

Nice looking rifle, Kurt, thanks for the pictures.

Not going to be able to shoot it today or tomorrow. We're getting a lot of cold rain. Wednesday looks promising. I don't mind the weather, but it's hard to keep the paper targets dry. Will try to post some close up pics instead.
