What parts are you still looking for?
it came out great for sure! I like JRA but communication could improve within the company I don't know why they did not use the heel I sent... It was shipped back in the box with the receiver, no info on headspace and the bolt was not reparked as requested....I'm gonna just go on with what I have and be a happy camper.

I'm waiting on my gas cylinder to show up, piston, rear sight, connector lock, springs, gas lock, maybe a flashider... I traded mine for a SEI vortex and I'm not sure I will use it..

Gary

10-4. I guess they send out heels to their welder in batches of ?? amount and had that on hand and prolly won't be sending another batch soon and wanted to expedite your order.
I'll see if I can help you with parts. I've made several major changes to 3 of my rifles.

Thanks from Itsadryheat

I noticed the different heal as well, as for the bolt I wonder if they didn't want too risk a gross finish miss match?

Keep the pic's coming.

Gary,

I am very happy for you, as I know how much you want this to be that special M14. I think you are well on your way to having what we talked about, that one of a kind.....CONGRATS MY FRIEND!

Please stay the course and acquire the necessary parts.

I know it does not detract from your rifle but I have to say that not using the receiver heel you furnished bothers me, and I would have wanted an explanation as to why not. Also I think you are entitled to have the specifications on your rifle. Is it really too much to ask for the head space?

Again not to detract from you and your wonderful build.

Congratulations!

Thanks Ren It bothers me as well, I am happy with the finished product, I only wish they used my heel, I can get the bolt reparked; if I push the issue I would only be angry, I did call and left a vm about the headspace...
