So far I've tested an op-rod, rear sight and trigger group (all in-spec) and everything fit as it should. My two USGI bolts, including the NOS one I just got from Sam (sdayton1) fit with no binding. I've also tried two SAI bolts (2008 and 2012 production) and one would not rotate into place.

I also tried out my ARMS #18 rail, which made contact at only the vertical and horizontal grooves, which a <1mm gap between the rear mounting point and stripper clip base, which is perfect. The rail itself was horizontally parallel to the sides of the receiver.

Anyway I'm quite happy with this receiver so far! Of course I won't be able to draw any full conclusions until it gets built into a rifle.







That's one fine looking receiver you have there sir. Now go get her built into a fine shooting M14!

Those receivers are beautiful! I'm kicking myself so hard for not figuring out how to get one of them before they closed :(

I talked with them a couple weeks ago and I think they still had some in stock.
