Awards Showcase

Well, I recognize expensive when I see it, and that kit has pricey all over it! Talk about putting together a masterpiece and I know a thing or two about putting them together.

I wish I had the heart to do another build like that(cause I really would like to do a T44E4 build) but don't believe I got it in me. Spending thousands on a build very few will ever really appreciate, leave to kids who will sell the moment they get the chance.

I don't know, aside from M14Brian, JerseyDevil, Hytekrednek, tnw50cal, Majikani,wags2162 and a few others who really cares if the build stays true to the original!

Who?

Ok I do!

The Difficult Part

The difficult part in the 14 community we are in is there is only so many parts. With that being said. Building becomes a labor of love because of enjoyment&appreciation of the platform. Or it because something we just throw money at. I believe I said this once before we are boys playing in a sand box. How we play? Well I will leave that to other boys in the box with me.

I like 600-800 yard long sandboxes. I have a similar build, and yes, it has devoured much money. I can make more money, they are not making these parts anymore. As for the time invested, I enjoyed every minute of the research, learning, hunting parts, and building it. An unforeseen bonus is that I have made some new friends through our interest in the T44E4 and early M14.

I wish I had the money to spare to get this kit. Super nice, and extremely rare to find all these NOS and NIW parts available as a kit. Any one of these parts are hard to locate in this condition, but all of them together is unheard of, at least to me. I have a rifle built from a group of similar nos/niw parts and the time and effort just to locate these parts was immense.
