I cannot get any photos of those rifles broken down, but I do have a desert McMillan stock that was used for a double lug gun. I'll try to remember to grab a few pictures of it soon.

Were all USMC match guns double lug? Or were some of different configuration, single lug? Standard?

Not All, but it depended on how good you were.

A Champion's Rifle

Pretty close I'd say!

There was a mix of both single and double lugged guns within the Marine Corps. Only the Gold Team got the el primo sticks to shoot with, though. It took until the late 1980s, early 1990s to get each Team shooter two to three Mac-stocked, double lugged, Krieger barreled guns.

Any questions, let me know! I cannot show serial numbers from the receivers, but other than that, its okay.

This last one is the part of the last Marine Rifle Team to ever field M14s across the board. The NM M16 was developed and fielded afterwards.

Enjoy!
