| Before and After
So a co-worker has been telling me for some time now that he has an old Springfield Armory with a rather unusual stock. He asked me to fix it up, clean it and install some parts. OK. He brings it in and I didn't look at it, I told him to place it in the back of my truck. I get home and begin working on it. Before.
And after..
It was fully assembled to begin with, I just cleaned it up and installed the mount and glass. I called him and asked if it has ever been fired. He said no. It was bone dry. Some grease and TLC and this thing is ready to go. Here's what I know.......TRW hammer, HR trigger group, windage knob marked BME, elevation marked WCE, can't recall who makes those. The stock is Choate and folds as you can see. Barrel is 16". S/N is 078XXX. I'm guessing it's an older model. He said that's the way he bought it off the shelf. I've never seen such a set up, and it looks to break several gun laws ....
