M14 photos

As some of you know my step son was killed in action back in Sept we just got these from one of his buddies when he came home on a mid tour leave and wanted to share because of the M14

These are some photo of my step son before he was killed in Afghanistan. These where taken by another solider in his unit during the dry run for the mission before he was killed. The white dog was Bret's buddy and wouldn't leave his side as long as he was on the base. The dog kind of looks like a spotter with the M14. We just got these photo from one of the solider when he came home for mid tour leave.

Sgt Bret Isenhower participating in a dry run of a mission in Afghanistan.

My deepest sympathy is extended to you and your wife on the loss of your precious son. He looked like he was a good troop in the pictures. It was mighty nice of his buddy to bring them home and share them with you and your family. Those pictures are priceless beyond belief. It's too bad his dog couldn't have been brought home too.

Thank you for the sacrifice your son made for our country. May God bless and comfort you and the rest of your family. Now as a parent myself, I can understand the worry I put my own parents through back when I was in Vietnam.

Thanks from oklawall

was strange about the dog, when word got back to camp about Bret death the guys went looking for the dog and couldn't find him anywhere. Gift from God until Bret was called home? I don't know but was very strange
