Here's mine, a no frills Standard M1A.



From what I can tell it was built '04.

It's a decent shooter. I shot some Radway Green today for the first time.

Big change in elevation required for the 147 vs. 168 gr rounds. Change in group size too.

I need to learn how to reload.

Sorry, from your picture I thought those tanks were scuba tanks, the book I was refering too took place off of NY, true story. Now I see they are not scuba tanks.

1957 Springfield M1 from CMP.
1996 SAI M1A Standard. Found it used and dirty in a gun store four years ago. $850 out the door. One of my best scores ever! Of course it cost me a bunch more money in mags, Hawk's button kit and so on.
