Also, on ARMS 18, with low ring.

Put the Pro on a short AK

Wes
Very cool, thanks for the info.
Might you have an updated photo of the rifle wearing the Comp 2?
Thanks again.

My first build and favorite rifle! LRB M25 receiver with medium barrel assembled with a GI parts kit from Windy City sourcing and matched to a walnut stock from Treeline. The scope is a Vortex PST 2.5-10x44 on ARMS low QD rings. The bipod is an Atlas on a Sadlak rail.

Added a scope (it was a real inexpensive scope, will find out how "cheap" it was next range trip). Just need a bipod for her now

Just took mine out to the range after sitting for way to long in the safe. I forgot just how much I love my EBR.

Your comment at the end, "it's all fun", is exactly the problem I have. Every M14 configuration appeals to me, well, most of them do. I will pass on the Hello Kitty M14.
Like Mr. Cash, I build my M14 collection one piece at a time.

What?......no rifle or pistol ribbon?

My biggest issue with the Navy......EVERYONE needs to qual I don't care your rate or billet.

Could not tolerate when commands came to qual either fam fire, watch stander or ribbon shoot and there were some that had never fired a firearm and were E4 or above...hell I had a damn CPO show one day to the range had over 15 yrs in never held a weapon.....as a favor of the XO and CMC who knew him I spent an entire afternoon and evening working with this guy to get him a rifle and pistol ribbon.....he barely made Marksman.....the dreaded "Naked" ribbons......

No disrespect intended to GrumpyNav...........every Navy recruit should be qualed out of Boot Camp......it's just so damn silly. When I went through Boot I was one of the lucky ones I guess.....was selected to shoot the Colt Ace 22LR.....and was then selected to shoot for ribbon with a 1911 45 CAL Pistol......one of the few selected to do so in my company.......not sure if it was because of my selected rate or not....but it made no sense that only a few left Boot with ribbons/medal for marksmanship to me.
