I did it again.....

Why can't I just make up my mind? Got tired of the chocolate chip cookie look of my old paint job and decided to try something new. This is it's 3rd makeover.

Went a little overboard on the OD and brown for my area, but it's something new. I'll probably change it again in the future anyways.

Took this one with the cell. Did it a few minutes ago, just had to tag it.

On a side note, just got a new USCG brake and the oversize mag release. Still need to install the oversize bolt stop.

Thanks from Beavis1971

I think it looks great. If that is a synthetic stock, how do you treat it to get the paint to stick?
I already did a search, and did not find any info on preparation.
I have a Remington 1100 shotgun with synthetic stocks that I would love to paint up in urban cammo.

I just roughed it up with some scotch brite. I guess sandpaper would do the same, but only in certain areas. Don't want to mess with your lockup.

Sticks fine but I use this thing to its limits and it wears off after a while.

You need several more stocks to paint and switch out on your M14. Great paintwork!

A friend of mine liked the job I did on my gun so he loaned me his AR to give it a new make-over.
