| I'd like to use the barrel I have. I'd like to use the barrel I have. Krieger KX900806 .308 WIN 1-12. It's a "Heavy". I have all the other components but, as you can guess, the fit is an issue; stock, rail and handguard. I really prefer a modest "stock" overall look. This my first post, damn learning curve!

Otokiak, damn you. Change your avitar please. Can't you make it lame like mine? Everytime I see your posts my heart takes a jump, and it is not good for a person in my condition.
I have stainless NM, but no pics. Working on that. I am thinking about camoing by M1A but I cringe at the idea of covering up the stainless barrel. It is so sexy cold in stainless.
Maybe I'll hold off until they come to take me away for being a friend of liberty. Then I'll slap on some Krylon and join the ranks in restoring the Republic.
I think you will be pleased with your stainless barrel. v/r lb

Ok i guess i will play but, i dont like stainless barrels even though i have an all stainless Mini 14. I know, I know how could some one have a stainless mini and not like stainless barrles i dont know either but i do.
It isnt a M14 but its close enough.
I have since painted the M14 barrel black, I love Krylon.
Good Shooting. |
