Im hosting our first Precision Rifle Shoot at Klamath Sportsman's Park in Keno,OR. Gunny is considering making the trip and wanted to get the word out to see if there are any other interested folks.
I can provide directions if interested.
Here's the flyer

Klamath Riflemen,

We will be conducting a new long range rifle shoot for you Precision Riflemen on the 600m range at Sportsmans Park. This is a first time event new for JSSA, with a growing number of long range shooters we thought we should break in the new paved and covered firing line on the Richard Wickline 600 meter range. Course of fire to be announced on site, but make sure you have plenty of ammo and know your rifle. There will be some instruction for those "last minute" guys, and a strong possibility of shooting from improvised positions. If you don't have your zeros at distances, you'll have an opportunity on site but try and have them down.

When: Saturday December 8th
set up 0930
shoot at 1100

Fees: $5 for shoot + entrance to park

Equipment: scoped rifle capable of engaging targets to 650 yards, semi or bolt welcome. .30 cal max.

Course of fire: TBD, bring at least 30 rounds.

Background: This new class will open to shooters of all experience levels with an emphasis of real world shooting from fixed and improvised firing positions.

Here is the run down on our shoot on saturday.

We had a great turnout yesterday with a total of 16 shooters and 4-5 observers, for our first Precision Rifle Match.

Those brave enough to face the wintery air were greeted with five challenging stages meant to push shooters abilities without being impossibly difficult. I think we achieved our goals.
Feedback has been very positive and as with all new activities we have a few improvements we can make for the next one.

I would like to thank all who attended and especially those who helped out with set up, take down, time keepers, and planners. This is definitely a group activity and "many hands make light work", it was great!
