A friend of mine's uncle sells them, he gets dealer samples, scopes that have been displayed, etc. Anyway he got 3x9 that was like new, no ring marks, just a few fingerprints & mounted it on his M1A, i shot it several times & it's not a bad scope, optics are good, about the same as SS - If you can find one 2nd hand or a demo & like the scopes concept try one out, i would NOT pay full price for one, IMO for 6 or 7 hundred bucks you could get a better scope

JD, I have some questions in regards to your testing,
1. How well did the bdc reticle work?
2.Does the reticle require certain velocities to attain the bdc?
3.How well did the 1 shot zero work out ?
4. Did you try removal and remounting to check the return of zero?
Any other feedback for the other inquiring minds out here?

I've had a Shepherd model P2 on my M1A. I've tried a few different scopes and this has worked the best so far. I'm not a whiz with the mil-dot system or military trained, and this has been the easiest to use. I'd like a leupold but don't have the $1400 yet. After getting the zero at 100yds, I put the reticle on the 600 and put 20 into the 10/X rings. Still a beginner myself when using scopes. My current scope mount is malfunctioning so I can't vouch for any zero return after r & r. The one shot got close, two put me on @100. You zero the scope with the loads you're going to use.

I have a Shepherd Enteprises P2-310 scope on my suppressed M1A. I love it.

Thanks from Nightrider
