SS315X42MQ

Guy's, tonight I ordered me a SWFA 3 to 15 FFP MIL MIL to put on my M1A to play with this summer... Any thoughts? Anyone use?
I wanted to try the HD 520X50 but could not justify the cost. Besides, I figured, if I ever build me a hunting M1A this would be the scope to have out here.
My rifle currently has the cheap SWFA SS10X42MQ which I love.

I've had a couple of them and they both worked fine. Reticules were straight, they held zero and tracked etc. I may buy another since they are on sale right now.

Can't think of any tips or tricks, on my M1A brass kept hitting the windage knob to the point that it was coming loose but purple loctite on one of the tiny screws fixed that.

I've had that happen so I wrapped black electrical tape around the knob several times to protect it.

Cheers

Thanks from spsosicmcise

Not done it to mine but YouTube has vids on fabricating a Zero stop.
Couple difficult versions.

My SS3-15X42MQ showed up today and it looks very nice to me anyway...
I intend to get it mounted and play with it this summer when work slows down here; it will be my first FFP scope.
Will be working with Hornady 168 AMaxes as well
