Hartman red dot

The man finally made a red dot. It's rechargeable with back up batteries. Tilt shut off, a bunch of other stuff to be more friendly to the user. Has anyone used this thing as of yet? Looks pretty legit just a little big. Really cool for a new next generation red dot from what I have seen. 🤔

At the least, Yooper, if you want guys to chime in post up a few pics of the item you're asking for opinions on, a link would be nice as well.

Have you seen the new Steiner red dots? I have their Micro reflex red dot (model MRS) and love it on my SOCOM 16, here's their site http://www.steiner-optics.com/battle...flex-sight-mrs

Here's the link Hartman's Web site http://hartman-il.com

BTW, I got rid of my EOTech's during the buy back, I returned 3 of them and went with Aimpoints Pros and the Steiner MRS, I also picked up a Aimpoint T1 micro reflex but haven't worked with it yet. This Hartman unit does look a little larger then the EOTechs I had and they were the larger AA battery ones, I think the number was 551. Now that I'm playing with the micro reflex sights the full size red dot sights just look and feel huge...Still, I have the bigger Aimpoint Pros mounted on my AR's though...

One question about this Hartman sight, it touts that its the only red dot that can be controlled remotely, if the weapon can't be controlled remotely and I have to be behind the sight to aim it why would I desire for it to be remote-controlled?

Mac
