Primary Arms red dot??'s

Have one of those very cheap red dot sights, Northstar??, and even though it works ok just not very robust and with each selection of the 3 reticles it changes zero, not precise clicks when going from one to the other. So, looking at subject brand of model that is comparable to Aimpoint T1 unit and from description of features is basically a clone of the Aimpoint model. Anyone have any experience with the one Primary Arms offers. Might add that they are offering refurbished ones at a much reduced price. All feedback appreciated.

I have the regular micro dot, the 2.5x, and the new gen 3 1-6x. I LOVE them. If you want to go micro, get the Holosun micro with the ACSS reticle (http://www.primaryarms.com/holosun-p...le-hs503g-acss). The horseshoe is helpful for getting on target quickly and also nicely frames your circular target at the range. One of the settings on the Holosun turns that off so you're left with something closer to a regular red dot if you prefer that. I really can't say enough about them.

Red dots get a bit "starry" for me with my eyes but the PA reticle on the 2.5x and 1-6x is etched so it stays crisp - plus if your battery dies the sight is still plenty usable. The red dots don't have the etched reticle

They are a great value all < $300. I think you'll be happy and, if not, you can sell it within a day on the PX. You will definitely be happy with the PA micro red dot for $90 too if that suits the budget. It isn't an Aimpoint, but the value is hard to beat.

Holosun says they are waterproof....yes from a light rain...not from a downpoor and or submerged. Trust me.
A great value for the money.
