Leupold mark 4 M3 10x40 model 45582

Should get my GWLA receiver with 1976 SAK barrel from Ted Brown
End of month looking at optics either one if these a good option

I got a local guy will sell me one for $500
Has the 308 cam sun shade & box he says 8 years like new

Was wondering if anybody had experience with it
Good or bad or is this one a better option

You have linked to two different scopes the one on Armslist is NOT a 10X Mark 4 M3!!! It appears to be a vx3 with target knobs and is (IMO) not worth the price listed. Note that there is no third knob for parallax. Run away...

I own two of the earlier L&S M3A Ultra 10x40 scopes. These are what are/were on the original M24 Sniper rifles.

The Leupold Mark 4 10x40 M3 is similar but different. The main difference is in the Reticle Construction: Glass-etched verses wire.

For $500 bucks sounds like a fair deal & local to me in WA
