Nice work Tony. Do you think have a supermatch or tactical style rifle that's 12 to 13 pounds will have an effect on the torque?

Thanks from tonyben

I'm sure it does, but I'd have to drag out a torque calculator. I know jkh62 made his own torque lever and he may have made it according to his EBR weight.

I think it will. My m1a is wearing a m3a stock and a med barrel weighing around 14lbs ready to go. I noticed to basset tool was a little bent after installing my mount.

Thanks for another great video. That's the same mount and scope I have on my Scout. The quality and brightness of Zeiss scopes is hard to beat. Don't know about the new ones as I heard they are being made in Asia. Have you used that scope for many rounds, and how old is it? I am wondering how it will hold up to the recoil.

Thanks from tonyben

It's holding up good and it jumps between rifles, from various M14's and my Savage 110. I've had it for maybe 7 or 8 years now.

Nice work as always on your helpful vids Tony.

I have a Conquest on my 300 WSM Supermodel. Lets just say there are quite a few animals living in my freezer every year because of that setup. Solid scope for sure.

Thanks from tonyben and Rich D

As far as torquing the mount you can use the combo tool the same way. I know it's not exact but it is going to be about the same each time.

Tony, your videos teach more than just the main topic. Don't know if anyone else noticed you tapping the mag on the bench to ensure that all rounds were fully seated. Used to teach something similar for the M1 clip. Thanks for reminding me. Looking foreward to more great vids.

Thanks from tonyben
