Did some trading and got this one.
Glass is really nice supposed to be made in Germany but who knows really.
Digging the red illuminated reticle very easy on the eyes,
Has the range finder which is handy Pretty much like the Russian PSO scopes.
Has anyone any time on these scopes?
Stuck it on my Robinson M96 for the time being.
Came with an ARMS quick detach mount as well.

Had lots of time behind that scope and It was the BIGGEST POS I have ever owned. I hope you have better luck.

Majority of the IOR scopes I have owned, used and seen come through my school are rock solid optics with outstanding glass. The glass is made for IOR by Zeiss Schottwerks, BTW.

The model you have is not one of the ones that I have very much experience with, however. I've got an IOR 3-18x that is on my loaner/rental rifle that I let students use. I've had it for years and it's seen hard use. Still works like new.

Got out to a friends farm and set target as 200 and 300 yards.
Hadn't bore sighted at home just mounted it on the gun.Figured I would do it on paper.
Set one zeroing target at 25 yards, first 3 shots high and right but all right together.
Made my adjustments on the turrets.
One more 3 shot set had me dead on.
Hit the 200 yard target center mass all in a inch or so group.
300 yard 3 shot group was just as tight.
I shot at a dead tree stump about 5 feet high farther out from 300 and made contact with ease.
I give the scope a big thumbs up for a 223/556 round.

Yeah the rangefinder is like the old PSO scope that I had on my Soviet Dragunov.
The PSO had a green tritium reticle IIRC.
It was rather harsh on the eyes as I recall.
This IOR is a quality scope that retailed around $700.00 when it came out from what I could find out online.
Made in Romania with German glass I found out as well. One of the oldest optic makers in Europe. They made Com Bloc military optics back during WWII and thru the cold war.
Very bright in low light conditions which is a plus.
Very simple and straight forward, the BDC works very well too.
I tried a few QCB drills and it was not a problem to get right on target.
If I can get 500 yards out of my Robinson M96 consistently with this scope I'll be more than happy.
