1. Thats not an M14 in the videoUSNA
2. How well will it take the forward recoil from the 14?

If it's anywhere near the quality of your red dots, this will be a very nice optic.

ps. PA is my preferred vendor for AR parts. Deal with confidence.

The warranty terms are not set yet but anyone that has done business with us knows we make things right.

The development
After years and years of studying sniper engagements and international sniper competition the ACSS system was created. Everything is pre milled not requiring math, auto range and correlated with BDC,wind and leads. In our studies the #1 reason shot were missed was wrong range estimation,#2 wind, #3 leads. Targets or unknown distance, movers and limited opportunity were the hardest to engage. The ACSS is designed to solve those problems out performing anything else prior to, yet still allow you to dial in an exact firing solution and use the mils system.

The M1A/M14

In my humble opinion the best DMR rifle created so far. Standard M80 ball out of an M1A/M14 is doing about 2700 fps and lines up out to 900 yards and just a hair low at 1000.

AR10/M-110
Another rifle that was given much attention was the AR10/M110 military ball and some .308 loads line up really well when dialed in (0) at 50/200 yards

M24-40/Rem 700
175 SMK at 2650 is the base load for this reticle and perfect for any .308 bolt gun that can push a pill at that fps.

As busy as it might appear its really fast 0-300 using the horse shoe.
because autorange is correlated time on target is decreased. When you become familiar with it as you are with your weapon its scary effective. Its not as busy as the spotter trying to range screaming at youDISHOUT adjustments looking at a data book. You simple range it, hold for wind and engage.DI5

Where are these produced?

Where are these scopes made? If they are made in China, will they be durable (especially with the M14 platform) and what is the resulting warranty going to be like? Right now I am looking at the SWFA Super Sniper scopes that are made in Japan. My concern is that with the cost initially so low, what will the quality be like?

I use PA optics on a few of my guns. Got a MD06L red dot on a AR pistol, 1-6X scope on a 16" AR, 4-14X Mil Dot Scope on a 18" AR, 4-16X on a Remington 700. Every time I am on the market for an optics I look at other options and I always come back to PA.

The new 4-14 at ~$280 is a great deal. Where else will you find a FFP scope with build in Bullet drop, range, and lead reticle?

After watching the videos of the reticle I like it, I have (4)-Burris 201909 which is a 1,000 yard holdover 7.62 reticle that is 1.5-6x that works but they are $800-1,000 and Burris quit making them this year for a 1.5-8x with different reticle that I hate. I pulled that Burris off one of my Bud Johnson built National Match's on a Sadlack mount and am putting it on a 375 Ruger mountain rifle, and as soon as I get that Primary Arms scope on that M1-A I'll post a video. A guy at Best Of The West Shooting Sports has a youtube channel and he can video it. That rifle shoots 1/4-1/2 MOA at a indoor 100 yard range so it should be easy to see if it works. Then Best Of The West goes to a 1,000 yards.

I have the scope on my Savage 10. Just mounted and zeroed it in at 100 yds at Best of the West. Next trip out there, I will reaching out to 500yds to see how she does. Maybe 1,000 if they clear me to shoot out that far. Glass is clear. Still learning the reticles...practice...practice.

I own the 4x prism scope with acss

The acss is awesome and trijicon was stupid for not making PA a run of acss acogs.

Pa is a quality outfit and I will do a review of my prism sight soon.

I will say they are on higher level than any other scope from an off country (on countries would be Japan usa and Germany).

My 4x prism is not as good as my acog but it's darn close.
I wish my acog had the acss

That reticle is genius and works with .308,5.56, and 5.45x39. I especially like the wind holds and the avg running human with weapon leads

So I recieved the 4x14 acss HUD scope last week. I mounted it to my M1A and have been to the range twice with it. My biggest concern with this scope was what would happen with the pounding that an M1A puts on a scope in this price point, let alone any price point. Well after 2 range sessions I have put 220 rounds through it and so far the scope is holding up really well. I also am only able to shoot out to 200 yards at this time. Upon first recieving the scope , it feels very well made. Its the same feeling you get from holding an SWFA. Why other scope companies cant seem to get their act together when it comes to scopes in this price point is a mystery to me. These two companies seemed to figure it out. I own Nikon, SWFA, IOR Valdada,Vortex Viper, and a couple of ACOG Trijicon optics. I put this PA up there with SWFA,Nikon, and Vortex. I put the IOR at the top but I also paid$1,300 more for it. The glass is very good. I don't see any imperfections at all. Even at 14 power the glass is still very clear. I love the fact that you can focus on the reticle. You can really get the top of the chevron to come in really sharp. The side parallax is a great feature as well. The reticle itself is not that busy. You get used to it pretty quick. Today at the range it was snowing pretty hard on Long Island. I used the highest setting on the illuminated reticle. It worked very well in contrast to the heavy snowfall. I hope to be able to shoot longer ranges this summer so I can see how well I do with this reticle. The turrets have nice audible clicks. They do feel a little mushy. I have heard people say that before. Its a minor thing to me. You can hear each click as well as feel each click. I would not let it be a deal breaker. Once again at this price point you are not going to get perfection. My first day last week I got a 100 yard zero pretty quick. I was using 168gr privi HPSB as well as American eagle 150gr. I was able to get about 1.5-1 inch groups. I used the turrets to get me out to 200. It worked great. Today I shot at the 100 just to confirm my zero. I forgot to take my 200 yard dope off the rifle so I was high when I took my first shot. I realized my error and was in the bull. I then spent the rest of the day shooting at the 200. I didnt feel like walking out there. There was some old shootandsee targets still up and plenty of junk guys have been shooting up recently. . I used the chevron to shoot up old soda cans. It was a really good feeling to make hit after hit on the cans at a little over 200 yards. I was pretty happy with the day. It was snowing pretty hard and the scope held its Zero. So the next time I get out I will try and get some pics up. I am pretty happy with the scope. I really cant wait to test this reticle. For a scope thats less then $300 you get a lot of good stuff with it. Yes you can get better made scopes but you will pay for it. I hope this helps with anybody on the fence. Thanks for bring a scope like this to the Market Dimitri!

Can anyone provide feedback regarding the weight of this optic? I was looking over the specs and I notice it is 24 ounces (A pound and a half). Add rings and it'll probably total out at 2 lbs. Is it really noticeable or make much of difference with a relatively heavy weapon like the M1A? Have any owners found this to be a drawback, benefit, or negligible?

I put one on my Loaded Precision with a Basset mount and it is heavier but then so is my AR with a 20 inch heavy barrel, Ergo stock, quad rail, etc.

I never really noticed it being any farther forward than any other rifle. The eye relief kind of necessitates it being where it has to be.

I think any time you add optics to the M1A, its just going to feel heavier. But I also think it has a lot to do with changing the center of gravity. B
ecause of the rear sight, you are forced to seat the scope a little further down the rifle then it really should be. I went with a CASM mount and when you install it, you lose the rear sight. This way you can bring the scope back. Once I did this I immediately felt a difference in the feel of the rifle. Just a couple of inches back and it just feels better. If you really want to cut down on the ounces then you should look at the Vortex 2.5-10x32 Viper PST 30mm Rifle Scope. It only weighs 18oz. I have one on an AR. with aluminum rings and I think you cant find a better 10x at 18oz. But its more then twice the price of the PA.
