Single-point M14 scope mounts

A question: Does ANYONE make one of the older, steel scope mounts for the M14/M1A, that attaches to the receiver with ONLY the single, large, knurled thumbscrew? All I see these days are the two-point mounts, that require the removal of the cartridge clip guide. Any help or guidance here would be greatly appreciated.

Close, but I was looking for the mount with ONE, single, large, KNURLED thumbscrew, not the ones that require a wrench or combo tool to tighten and loosen. Many thanks though, for your response. I'd like the ability to quickly dismount the scope, when necessary, and still be able to use the clip guide. A Weaver rail, or even Redfield split rings on top is fine.

Thanks to all who replied. I guess I'm going to have to at least consider a two-point rig. Still, some good links, and much to think about.

I'm in the same boat of wanting to keep the rifle as unchanged as possible. I'm going about trying to keep it just like the classic M14 sans fun switch. Currently waiting on a FS with bayonet lug and an M6 bayonet in the mail. So far i have the buttstock cleaning kit, and an original M14 canvas web sling. I just put my rifle back together today after applying several coats of 100% pure tung oil to the stock over this last week.

Suffice to say, im not all that keen about taking the stripper clip guide off either. I have read good things about basset mounts, im just not sure which one to get. I don't think your gonna find one with a single screw that doesn't require some tool.

Honestly though, the tool on the basset mount isn't that big of an issue. See here.
