Thanks Ex., you are right on, or should I say, Spot On? Sorry, sometimes I just can't help myself! I do like the BDC Scopes for hunting. I range a number of different landmarks so I'll know what circle to use if I get the opportunity for a shot. I also do this when using the M-223 Rapid Action Turret Scope for coyote hunting.
If you are turning turret's on a Nikoplex Reticle Spot On can do adjustment's for wind speed to make it easy on you, then with the return to zero you can get back to where you started.
I haven't ordered a Custom Turret yet but I did chrono. some ammo so a friend could order 2. Hopefully in the next few months I'll get an opportunity to shoot the rifles and let you know how they work.
