Recommend some rings

I finally quite being lazy and ordered a low profile Bassett mount. I've got a Millett TRS-1. There's not much in town besides Walmart which doesn't have much of a choice, so I'll have to order something and be stuck with it. I don't want to drop a pile of money on rings, but also don't want to cheap out if I won't be happy. Any suggestions?

Realistically, how much do you want to spend?

For middle of the road rings i would buy either Weaver Grand Slam rings or Millett Angle Lock rings. They are both made out of steal, and stay put right were you want them. I have a Millett TSR-1 on my M1A and have a set of Weaver Grand Slam rings and the combination works great for me. I also have a Super Sniper 10x on my bolt gun and have Millett Angle lock rings on it and they work great too. So i cant complain for $30 (Weaver Grand Slam) and $40 (Millett Angle Lock ) they work very well and are rock solid.
Good Shooting.

I don't know what your budget it but I have used the Burris Extreme Tactical rings on 2 ARs and my LRB M25. All 3 sets have done very well. Im also a fan of Weaver products although I have never used their rings

Warne rings are good and they make picatinny spec rings. Very good rings on a budget.

I only use Badger Ordnance or Seekins Precision.

Attention to detail note -- both are serialized to ensure they were milled together from a single piece of barstock. Also if you resell, these 2 brands retain 90% value.

At the price point, try Vortex Matched 30mm rings (made by Seekins) from OpticsPlanet. $115 for 0.87" lows. 5% and 10% coupon codes are a Google search away.

My theory is order rings from the maker of the scope. They have a vested interest in making their rings be as perfect as possible for their own product line. I've simply seen that each manufacturer has SLIGHTLY different specs. One guy's 30mm does not seem to be another guy's for whatever reason.

Thanks for the help. I'll do some reading on the ones suggested here and see what I end up with.

I have the Burris ET rings on one of my 50 BMG bolt actions and they have never shifted or move at all. I also have a set of steel 6 screw Badger Ord. rings on my other .50, they are about the heaviest rings I have ever seen and as tough as a anvil.

I have a Millett TRS-1 mounted with TPS 30mm High Rings on a Brooksfield mount, Looks like I can get 300- 400 yds. out of my iron sights, have not been to the range yet. Scope rings are built like a tank. Just under $100.00 wiincluding shipping from Midway.
