I just got a Bassett scope mount and want to put my NIKON Buckmaster on it. I put the bore site on and I cannot bring the scope elevation down on the bore site anymore. Is this a bore site problem a mounting issue or a scope issue? Thanks for you input.

I have never used a boresite devise. So I can't help with that, but I always mount the scope go to the range. Set the target out at 25 yards fire one shot at dead center of the target. If my point of aim is to far from point of impact I know there is a problem. If it's elivation, I reverse the rings or try another set. Windage is a mount problem, check that it is aligned with the receiver.
