Need help ID'ing a old mount

Bought this on GB this week. Looks old. Funny thing is my ART MPC fits it like a glove. Garbage? Woth using? Only paid $17 bucks for it, along with a sling and some mag holders. Does anyone know who made this? Looks like I need a clip guide drilled and tapped...

The vertical rib looks like is is quite distorted. Most likley the mount could be junk.

The second piece looks like an uzi 9mm smg double clip holder.

Actually, it's not distorted. I hit it with aluminablack, and it's fine. Just had anodizing worn off. The bottom part of it is a set screw.

It's a ART II scopemout, but.....

It's a modified leatherwood ART II scope mount.
The weaver base on top was added. Either by Leatherwood for the other type scope rail that they had, or by someone else. I am leaning toward by others.

Serious? Jeez I just sent $260 to Ironsights for a art scope mount. I'm gonna use this. The scope fits in it.

Is it possible that it's actually the mount that was made for the ART MPC? If so, holy cow, what a coincidence! I need to cancel my order with Ironsights.

Front thumbscrew is a little buggered, so need a new one. Also, need a clip guide mount, although I, still not sure what I have. If its a commercial mount. I'm trying to test fit to my receiver but just can't seem to get the right angle for the thumbscrew to torque down. Damn SAi receiver screw hole doesn't help have stripped a few Sadlak mount screws on it.

Bingo....

Not sure it was originally made for the ART II, but the base is definitely Leatherwood. They are the only ones I have seen with the setscrew in the vertical rib to reinforce it, plus a lot of the other machining details match.

The weaver rail on top was added at some point for some unknown reason. Maybe you found a Leatherwood toolroom prototype for the MPC mount.

Edit: the MPC mount from Iron Sight may show up with the clip guide mount included, or they sell them also.
