Just got a Leupold Mk4 M1 8.5-25x new in the box yesterday. Have a question about the turrets. The windage turret makes a click that you can hear and its very crisp. The elevation turret makes no noise at all and is not very crisp. Is this normal? Thanks

Nope, maybe they didn't install the ball... call or e-mail Leupold about it and see what they say.

New or used?
For their warranty, doesn't matter.
Had a pre-owned MkIV-16X with the same problem.
They replaced the knobs, no questions asked. While it was in I let them change the target spot to a mil-dot to make a little $$$ on the deal.
Came out sweet!

Like the others said, thats abnormal, Leupold will make it right.

Supposed to click. WIsh you would have looked in the bx, I am selling that same scope. Oh well, enjoy it, they are good scopes. What reticle did you get? the TMR?

Went with the mildot. Had to buy from my gun store, they have a year layaway.
