Has anyone experienced any problems with the new Redfield Revolution scope?

Not so far. I have mounted and shot 5 of them on .308 win to 375H&H for others. Personally have about 400 rounds through mine on a 35 whelan, with 2 hard hunting seasons on it. Holds zero, tracks properly. My only complaint on all of them is the turrets do not feel very positive, quite mushy, but they are a budget scope after all.
These were all standard duplex 2x7, or 3x9 BTW.

My wife yanked a Leupold off her AR-10 to install a Redfield Rev 3x9 after shooting the 2x7 on her 15. Got 3 of them, no problems and love em....O.L.

Yeah I have. I have the 4-12x40mm one with the accu-range reticle. Eye relief was more than avertised, it was near impossible to mount it to my M7 Remington. I ended up having custom mounts made for it. Then after all that work the parallax went south. I assume it didn't care for the 300 short mag. The adjustments aren't always on, there is some play in each click of the dial. All and all it was not worth what you pay for it. Glass quality is good, but internals suck. I didn't send it back yet, instead I put it on my 22mag. I have gotten some use out of it on there. mounting on that action seemed to fit better, and the parallax seemed to settle down some. Last weekend however it went funny even on that. It really needs to get sent in. When it comes back I'm not sure what I'm going to use it on. I guess that one will go on the shelf for something in the future.
My gun smiths brother bought a 2-7 redfield and mounted it to one of his rifles. He also found it very hard to find proper eye relief with it and mounting solutions.
I'd suggest if a person bought one, put it on a long action with pretty of room to mount it. And I woulgn't put it on a magnum caliber. I sure as heck wouldn't put one on an M1a. The double recoil is sure to kill it in short order.

I have a 2-7 on my m1a, no issues at all. I've fired a couple hundred rounds through it. I'm using a Springfield gen 3 mount. Also no issues.

I got a few of them when my brother worked for Leupold; the ones I have are all good to go.
They're all 3x9 Accu-ranges, one of them was annodized OD green, and has my screen name etched onto the side of the scope by the custom shop.. It's pretty nifty.

I have a 3x9 mounted on my Ruger Number 1 in 30/06. It is very clear and it seems to be holding up well.

OK, I wanted to hear from someone, before I said anything. I have the 4X12X40. It was bad out of the box. I ran out of elevation adjustment trying to raise it to the bull. This was on a 22 Hornet. I sent it in. Last weekend, I mounted it on a 223 in a 700 Rem, It is worse than when I sent it in. I ran out of elevation adjustment, and was still 3" below the bull at 100 yards. And, it didn't want to change impact on the windage at first, finally moved some, then would not move the impact any more. Leupold is paying the the shipping this time. I just got it boxed up, and will go to UPS tomorrow. Kinda ticks me off, that I sent it in, telling them what it was doing, and got it back the same way. Maybe it is something with the 4X12X40, and the others are fine. The optics are clear. I'll let you know what happens.

So yeah you got problems. Good luck.

Count clicks from extreme to the other and set to center, then bore sight it and compare to the reticle. If it way off, it's a mount issue....O.L.

Yes it's a good possibility if the mount/rings are off enough, you could run out of elevation/widage before you are zeroed. dozier

The point of impact quit moving, when I had 1 full round left on the adjustment knob. It's not the mounts.
