i recently came across a set of mini compact 10x25 binoculars.. good glass, had been spray painted tan, left optic has a range finder in it that has numbers and lines separatly focused brings out the range finder or if used as monocular.. never seen a set like this, just looking for info on them..

one thing strange is that range finding side is shifted so it is not top of reticle is not at 12 oclock postion rather at 2 oclock position.

any ran into these or the military guys use these????

Possible for a picture? Are they roof prism (basically two straight tubes) or are they porro prism (classic old style disjointed tubes). Do they have a central focusing wheel? Are they rubber armored.

I've never heard of a 10x25 military binocular.

Unless this bino cost something like $3000+, 10x25 would be unthinkable in anything but bright sunlight. But even if they were extremely expensive, I'm betting they still wouldn't be that great. No brand name?

I have a set of 10X42s that are noticeably dimmer and more difficult to use than a same model 8X42s. Both from a good glass company. I'd imagine 10X25mm as unuseable.
