P_GHi everyone, I am new to the forum and a pround M1A owner as of this last weekend.
Picked up a M1A standard in the local paper NIB for a song. Been admiring them for years but could not get myself to bit the bullet. Considering the current climate I could not turn it down. My original thought was to buy it and sell at a profit it if I did not like it, but I can tell I will have it long time.
Love to shoot I own several rifles and pistols. Currently down to one pistol (from 6). Kept the one I shoot the best. XDM 9mm.
I currently own a few hunting rifles and birdguns, a Daniel Defense DDM4V5, Mossberg SPX, SIG 522 <<<<great .22, and now the M1A.
I have to say I more excited about this weapon then I was about my other guns. The look, feel, and history of it really appeal to me. And I have not even shot it yet!
