Hey guys, new person that just joined here. Currently in the Middle East on a deployment. Really wanting an M1A when I get back, among other things. Hope to learn a lot here! MC1

Welcome to the forum. You might want to order the M1A now so you have it when you get back the lead time these days is pretty long. If you order a SAI one they don't charge you until they are close to shipping it. Not so sure what LRB's policy is on complete builds but they did not charge me for the receivers I purchased until they were ready to ship. Thanks for toughing it out in the sandbox for us. Not to many years ago I would have been there with ya along with the rest of the vets on the forum. Enjoy and dont be shy stop in and say hey once in awhile.

Glad to have you Yellow Thunder!
Just got out of Baghdad myself, so keep your head down, your rifle clean, your powder dry, your hatchet and knife sharp! Always remember man, there's nothing in that place worth an American dying for, but there is nothing wrong with plenty of Arabs dying there!
So enjoy the rip-its and keep frosty bro! See you upon redeployment! GI6

Welcome

Welcome aboard Yellow Thunder, may your days in the sandbox be short, and your return to the Left(ist) coast be swift!

A gunner ought to be sober, wakeful, lusty, hardy, patient, prudent and a quick spirited man, he ought also to have good eyesight, a good judgement and perfect knowledge to select a convenient place in the day of service, to plant his ordnance where he may do most hurt unto the enemies and be least annoyed by them.
