Aloha to all who love to cradle their M14/M1A and to thank my friend who got tired of this BEAUTIFUL SA M1A rifle and gave it to me with the M2 bipod and the SA Gov.Model 4x14x56 scope..just like to sit in my rocking chair and look at how pretty this rifle is! The first time that Iearned how to field strip the M14 was back in 1966 at Ft.Ord,CA and you know what, I still remember!! Who said old soldiers just fade away!! So now I am putting my personality unto this rifle to suit me....to bad that it is so hard to get ammo in this state..any ideas?? Regards to all,Lou ARMY1 JMPWNG2 CIB3 PS I would put the AIRASLT but although it wasnt issued to us we(11Bush) did enough Charlie Alphas that we should have had it put on our DD214s!!!
