I'm going to dive right into the M1A market, with no experience with the rifle. My Army scout days were Colt 45's, M16's, and finally Beretta's. Did training with G3's and had many AR's over the years.
I have an opportunity to buy an excellent condition M1A with wood stock supposedly from the factory with reproduction military cartouches or an excellent condition Armscorp NM.
What are your thoughts of these two rifles? They have similar prices.
Welcome aboard, Augen, well, right off hand I would buy them both it would save time on your way to three. GI2 You can hadly go wrong on getting an M1A or M14. I am sure you will enjoy the forums and being here with us. Have fun.
Oh you'll like this one. I passed on the Armscorp and "bought" the M1A from an online dealer - one I have been dealing with for the past year with no problems.
Now I get an email saying it actually was never in stock - despite their "real time" stock computer system.
I cry foul - I imagine one of the workers wanted it after i bought it. And now I've lost the M14.
Unbelievable - now back to searching again but thanks for the welcome.
