Kinda New To The M14

Hello all, have been using this site as a reference for the last few weeks! I am in the process of collecting parts to one day build a EBR - Mod1 hopefully.... Well after I get out of CA!

Hopefully I can get some good GI parts to replace factory SAI parts on my "new" late model my Scout Squad!

Welcome on board cavguy14, pull up an old ammunition crate and sit awhile. This here Gun Board is a great place for information on our beloved M14 Battlerifle and military surplus ammunition for feeding her. Again welcome on board and have yourself a great weekend.

Welcome. What do you mean by "build". Change stocks and add a scope mount? Or are you going to mount a barrel, headspace etc?

Welcome from Texas Cavguy.
Better move quick. Heard that anyone not cali happy as of 1 June will be prohibited from exiting the state and sent to a Hellywood indoctrination camp run by Barbara Strisand and the kardashun gals ("teega" too).

Thanks from unkola

I'm going to build me a new rifle too; something never done before as far as I know. It's going to have a beer holder. (OK Polack, don't get too enthused, I'm kidding)

Cheers

Thanks everyone! I am sure one day I will be assembling a barrel to a receiver, etc.. but for now its going to probably just be swapping stocks and bolt, op-rod and trigger assembly. I need to read up on headspace before I feel comfortable messing with the bolt.
