Thank you all for your welcoming words! I usually shoot at the Island Lake range during the summer. Although last year a friend took me to the "pit" somewhere up around Utica. That is a great place as there is no range master to spoil the rapid fire fun.

The pit is north of Lapeer. I was there once about three weeks ago. Now I know why they call it the pit! Bottom of the hill is 82 yards.
