Bought my third M14 the other day and decided I should join and learn more about them and how to make them shoot better.
My first one that I sold off a few years ago to a buddy was simply a standard 22 inch Norinco M305 with a tuned trigger that shot well but after a day of playing and banging gongs at 600 yards my buddy decided he had to have it so I sold it to him as I wanted one a little shorter.
Lasts year I made a trade for another Norinco, this one was cut to 18.6 inch to remain non restricted in Canada and was in a USGI fiberglass stock with some other mods like a navy front sight, upgraded guide rod and spring and a few other things that I can't remember.
The newest one is a full Norinco build with Blackfeather stock and a lot of work done including a Kreiger barrel, USGI gas tube, Sadlak gas piston, USGI trigger parts, Fulton bolt, NM guide rod and spring, UBR stock, and some other stuff.
I'm still waiting for delivery of the new one but am very excited to start load development for it and see what kind of accuracy it is capable of.
Welcome on board cr5, pull up an old ammunition crate and sit awhile. This here Gun Board is a great place for information on our beloved M14 Battlerifle and military surplus ammunition for feeding her. Again welcome on board and have yourself a great weekend ahead.
