| Another strong M14 owning Patriot from the People's Republic of California
Hello, Gentlemen! I'm in in 29 Palms, thanks for having me here. I finally joined after years of lurking, I figured it was about time. I have been reading a lot of you members' posts for a long time and I really enjoy some of your sense of humor, point of view, and really I love some of your M1A/M14s. I have several M14 type rifles, an SA "Loaded" M1As, an SA Standard M1A, an LRB M25 project, an Armscorp M14 NM project, an SA Scout Squad, and an SA Socom II. A few of you know me, and the rest, it will be good to get to know you.

Welcome, seems I spent some time at 29 Palms before I got lucky and got sent to Pearl Harbor. That was a life time ago. Again Welcome!

Thanks, guys!! I thought more of you would've been along. Sorry if I scared anyone off saying I'm a 'strong Patriot', I'm really a friendly guy actually .

Naw, you're ok, just being out there in the desert takes it's toll on a person......many believe that Joshua Tree has magical powers....LOL
You know what we use to say about Yuma, if God was to give the world an enema........

Haha! Well, they say out here is the armpit, or uh, the other body part of the world. I'm trying to make the best of it. I'm finding that not too many shooters have the vast space I have. Hate the gun laws in CA, so un-American, boils my blood.....

Welcome to the forum, enjoy. You must have some really good out of the way shooting places out there. I like shooting ranges but nothing is quite like just going out into the open spaces and blasting a few hundred rounds off.

Yeah man, there are a few good spots. There is extensive BLM land out here and it's common to shoot there. I don't like ranges so much, out here I can put up situation training targets and all the stuff ranges don't like. I have an invite to a 1,000 yard private range too, with minimal rules that I think I'm going to switch to as my regular spot because it seems the others are being systematically tightened up.
