US Navy LCAC Hovercraft

A compilation of photos and videos for the Men and Women of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps assigned to the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) and all its support groups such as the U.S. Navy Amphibious Warships LPDs, LSDs and LSTs.

i liked the ending!! while we couldnt carry them on the old LST, i remember the first time i saw an LCAC coming over the horizon, nothing but a wall of water.

Great video!
I remember seeing them when I was standing lookout one day. There were two on the Horizon (probably about 3 miles away) I turned away for about a minute and when I turned to look for them, they where almost on top of us! Really fast movers they are.

I also wanted to serve on LCACs. It's the only time an enlisted man could qualify and wear the gold Naval Aviator pin since LCACs are considered to be aircraft.

Yup....I like the endings of all my videos. Glad that all of you have enjoyed watching the video thus far.
