Golden shellback -- 1980-- on the way to Australia for 6 days -- unfortunately ( or maybe fortunately) I only remember 2 of them. Liberty was great!!!!!

USS Wiltsie (DD716), late Feb. 1968, . . . on the way to being the first American warship to visit Brisbane, Australia since WW2.

Little Aussie rug rats that visited the ship stole everything that wasn't nailed down (white hats, bell bottoms, belts, anything that looked like a souvenier, . . . just glad I put everything away and took 5 days leave to the Gold Coast.
