Infantryperson ? InfantryLesbian? InfantryBisexual? InfantryGay ? InfantryTransgender? InfantryDyke? InfantryQueen ?

Rifleperson ? RifleLesbian ? RifleBisexual ? RifleGay ? RifleTransgender ?RifleDyke ? RifleQueen ?

This crap can go on forever !!!!

I had to take "brother" out of the USMC Riflemans Creed to make this PC.

This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me my rifle is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than the enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will. My rifle and I know that what counts in war is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, or the smoke we make. We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit.

My rifle is human, even as I am human, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a LGBT. I will learn its weaknesses, its strengths, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its barrel. I will keep my rifle clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other.

Before God I swear this creed. My rifle and I are the defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life.

So be it, until victory is America's and there is no enemy.

I never understood why they did it to begin with. If I was a bosins mate I wouldn't want to have bm in my title. Not sure if I spelled it right tho'. Lol. The Navy guys here on base all have different titles and they all use them as if everyone knows what the hell they're talking about then get butthurt if you don't know what they're talking about.

Ahhh, . . . it's one of the "secrets" each service seems to have.

All of them have little intricacies that are foreign or not applicable to some if not all the other services.

S4 is supply in the Army, . . . it's plain old "Supply" in the navy, . . . Army has the BX or PX, . . . Navy has the Ship's Store, . . . Army uses S3 for the equivalent CIC, . . . Army uses S6, . . . Navy calls it the Radio Shack.

And the enlisted ranks don't have much less disorganization, . . . some Army Sgts with 5 stripes are platoon sgts, . . . some are sgt 1st class, . . . those with 6 stripes can be the first sgt, . . . the first shirt, . . . and if it has a star or a diamond, . . . that means something different altogether.

Those in a particular service know the acronyms, . . . others don't need em. It's just the way the game is played.

May God bless,
Dwight

I don't recall all the details, . . . but there was a story in WW2 about a guy who got separated from his unit, . . . later wandered in at a different location and different unit, . . . but was suspected of being a spy by the second unit. Only because he knew who was the pitcher of the team that won the world series a year or so before was he accepted. "Boots on the ground" knowledge saved his bacon.

May God bless,
Dwight

I'd be dead. I couldn't care less about any professional sports especially baseball. Couldn't tell you what baseball team won the Super Bowl or who the winning goalie was.

Navy scraps plan to dump job titles amid sailors' complaints

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/12/20...omplaints.html

The Navy is scrapping its decision to eliminate dozens of enlisted sailors' job titles, including many that end in "man," after hitting an onslaught of opposition from the force.

That's a reference to the USS Enterprise on Star Trek. As in Capt Kirk, Yeoman Rand, etc.

Participation Trophy for everyone.

Everyone take a moment to recite the Non-Conformist's Oath:
I promise to be unique.
I promise to be different.
I promise not to follow someone else's lead.
I promise to fight establishments.
I promise to never repeat things other people tell me...

(never mind)

I knew they would change their minds after a while. Politics should have never overpowered tradition and heritage from the get-go.

Titles, Titles..........its all about a title. Think of this way, now they don't need to waste all of that paper announcing what you do? I am sure that the cooks in the navy are glad to see the titles gone. Who wants to be a cook, cop, or medic anyway? I was in the Air Force and could care less about a title. (I worked on microwave telecommunication equipment, ET for short) See what I mean?
